Love the light that winter brings, the blues and purples, the sparkle that emanates from the ice formations. I enjoy the silence and beauty of winter snow. Life continues.

a sense of place
Wherever I travel, I feel a sense of place. Perhaps we wander into places that naturally attract our energy. These images are not mine, they are ours, I only offer them to you. They might remind you of a place you've gone hiking or a road where you walked with your dog or good friend.

As an avid gardner I am forever enjoying the shapes, sizes and colors that abound. Here I offer some images that I hope you will like.

Ending up in Vermont was a stroke of fate (a story for a later blog), with that I am forever awed by the beauty of the landscape. I've also included a couple images from my travels in a vintage camper.

chickens and friends
There is nothing like the beauty and fun of animals. I often find myself asking them to pose, like with the chickens on the bench or cat Gracie Sage looking up at a beautiful pink flower.
My hope is that one of these images will make you smile.

come on over
Sometimes I just come across something that attracts my eye and I photograph it. Colors come to mind, but then again shapes and patterns seem to get my attention too. Robert Carsten's pastels amazed me as did the pink flies tied by volunteers for casting for recovery. A burst of color and shape comes together in these close ups I call creative space.
